Project Life- Jade Edition | Engagement Photos

If you love Project Life, you most certainly have already heard the super exciting news that Becky Higgins' Project Life (in conjunction with Lisa Bearnson and American Crafts) is making its TV debut this coming Monday, March 25th on the Home Shopping Network. The amazing Jade and Blush Editions will be offered in bundle packages that include the kit, an album, page protectors and dividers for what Becky promises will be a never-before-seen price. I can't wait to get my hands on these kits, especially after having the opportunity to create several sample pages with the brand new Jade Edition as part of the Project Life CT!

When the happy mail from American Crafts arrived on my doorstep, I tore into the packaging and found myself looking through some of the most awesome designs, including cameras, handwritten phrases, beautiful patterns and a versatile color palette that makes it perfect for so many different projects. It was designed by the very talented Lili Niclass, the genius behind the Clementine, Baby and Seasons Mini Editions too.

I chose to work with the "engagement/wedding" theme for these pages. Similar to my wedding album project, I've been hanging onto our engagement pictures for over five years, waiting for the "stars to align" so that I'd have the time to tackle these special memories. Again, enter Project Life! While these pages are only a sample of what's to come, I will without a doubt be purchasing the full Jade Edition to complete this story as soon as it's released.

As a digital scrapbooker (more 2013 weekly pages coming very soon!), I've found myself waaaay out of my comfort zone this year doing more paper scrapbooking than ever before and I can't believe how quickly and easily these pages came together (again) with the simple mix of page protectors, photos and a pen. I added a few alphas to my pages, but nothing else. Super simple and I love it to pieces.

Our engagement photos were taken by Kathy Blanchard Photography (awesome lady). We met her on a gorgeous summer day in July of 2007 in Annapolis, Maryland, one of our favorite places and a huge part of our story as a couple. I hope these pages are proof of how perfect the Jade Edition can be for one of your own projects too. The colors are bright and fun, the designs are inspiring and versatile and everything fell into place with such ease that I can't wait to add more pages to this album.

  10. You did an amazing job of putting together this album! I adore the captions and your personal moments. I thought my engagement photos were too formal to make a scrapbook with, and boy was I WRONG. I love your album and I'm putting it on the list to make one like it too - to share our story with our family someday. Those moments deserve to be recorded.....thank you for sharing your album.
