Project Life Flashback | Easter 2009
I'm going to let you in on a little secret...I've been digging into the Victor Family Archives a bit lately to add more Project Life-style layouts to my older albums. I've started a few of these flashback pages in addition to my current weekly pages and I LOVE them, I mean really, LOVE them. Most of the pages I'm working on have a coordinating scrapbook page from years ago with just a single photo (how I scrapbooked 75% of my layouts up until Project Life came along). I can't get enough of seeing multiple photos on my pages from a single event, even just a everyday photo shoot. And while I've made lots of multi-photo pages in the past too, there's must something magical about pulling stories together in this format. I won't be making any specific plans for what to "go back" and capture, but look for more flashbacks in the near future! I had too much fun with this one to stop now.
Ella's First Easter 2009: Our first Easter with a little one in the house. Our baby girl slept for much of the day (can't remember how the night went!) and was the perfect little subject for my photo shoot (in her boppy lounger on the kitchen island in our teeny tiny townhouse). I can hardly believe this is the same girl who is now 4 years old and spent this past Easter hunting for eggs in the backyard, devouring sugary sweets and thanking the Easter bunny up and down for her new princess Squinkies toys. That Easter bunny is pretty cool. And it's amazing to see where this holiday started for us.
