Project Life | Week 5: Honey Edition

 

The Project Life Creative Team was challenged this month to create layouts using the very basics of this awesome system- one core kit, our photos and words. Perfect. I'm still chugging along with my weekly layouts, several in progress, and totally OK with that. Believe me, that surprises me too.

 

Today I'm sharing some favorite photos and stories from the week after I returned from Sweden. Jay's Mom sadly headed back to D.C. and we saw her off by enjoying a delicious lunch at one of our favorite pizza places downtown. My colleagues at work through a lovely party for my return home and I brought chocolates back to share with them as a thank you for all of the wonderful support. This week was largely about taking a deep breath, getting back into a groove, snuggling with my babies and looking forward to life after graduate school! We also invited my Mom over for a belated birthday dinner complete with brownies filled with pink icing and chocolate hearts, a birthday cupcake Pandora charm from her bracelet and a card signed by both of the girls. I love that Ella can write her own name now. She also drew Grandma a birthday cake!
